Diary of Endelle Stroth - 38.08.2270

Loath though I am to wish death or even mild harm upon my enemies, I must admit to feeling a sense of poetic justice that the Baroness’ own ignorance proved to be the architect of her demise.

The sidearm was actually one of the very first physical items donated to the Project Centennial exhibition; it was framed as a diplomatic gesture from the Dothroi, but in truth I suspect they were testing us, just as they once tested their own Radiant Guard - they wanted to see if we would pull the trigger. Fortunately our - the Museum’s, I should say - analysts managed to identify the mechanism before any kind of tragedy could strike, and the Dothroi somewhat begrudgingly filled in the gaps in our understanding. A strong relationship of mutual respect was formed that day, and the sidearm was never touched again - until today.

Clearly Baroness Oramande didn’t do the reading.
