050. Union Struggles To Solve For Threats

ANDAR PRIME - The political community is awash with speculation, as rumours grow of a cooling in relations between members of the Trifold Union. The alliance between the Coreworlds Conglomerate, the Empire of the Queil and the mysterious Ele is still in its infancy, dogged by fringe threats such as GLoW (the Galactic Liberation of Wonder movement) and destabilising domestic forces like the Montreau Conservatory’s anonymous employers.

Sources on Andar Prime report that representatives recently met with AUM’s embattled Curator, Endelle Stroth, at the Threshold of the Ninth Plane. Stroth’s attendance suggests that topics of discussion included the rise of GLoW and its attacks on the ARK Mandate, as well as the recent appearance of Project Centennial drones within Queil territory.

Since the Project’s discovery of Astrum-36, the fuel source for FTL travel, Stroth and the Aglostarros University Museum have found - or perhaps put - themselves at the heart of several worrying developments. However, the Museum has so far adhered closely to its statement that “we are only providing the galaxy with knowledge; how some have chosen to use that knowledge is regrettable, but ultimately those choices are beyond the Museum’s responsibility.”

Between negotiations, Conglomerate ambassador Rayan Tiller reaffirmed that “we are committed to making this Union work for all galactic citizens, to ensure the frontier is as safe as the Coreworlds.” Exactly what this ‘safety’ will comprise remains unknown, but leaked documents hint at the consolidation of ARK, mercenary forces and Queil military assets into a united defence network.

More as negotiations unfold.
