Today, honoured patron, I was approached by… representatives of a certain individual whom I will not name, but who has recently expressed monetary interest in certain artefacts from the frontier. In short, the individual wanted me to expunge all records of and references to a certain precious mineral from the Project Centennial archives. I can only assume that their motive was to ensure the exclusivity of their recent purchase.
I told this individual in no uncertain terms that I would not compromise the integrity of the Museum’s work for any price. I pray they aren’t already aware of our military contracts; I am certain that knowledge would put paid to any credibility we may have accrued over our centuries of research. In any case, as long as this exhibition is under my jurisdiction, I can assure you that our small collection of Crystal Cerite specimens will remain on public display.
Yours in curiosity, Curator Endelle Stroth
