“The shine is wearing off.” That’s what many have been saying about Project Centennial lately, and honestly, on some days I fear I may agree with them, honoured patron. Make no mistake, I still believe in our work here at the Aglostarros University Museum. Wonder is perhaps the purest and most righteous of motivators, and this exhibition is well supplied when it comes to wonder. But not all in the Conglomerate are so noble in their intentions, and I fear they may have darker uses for the work we are doing here.
À propos of nothing, you may hear this week that the University has committed to work with the Conglomerate’s military research division to weaponise the findings of our Centurions. I must stress that I am doing so under substantial duress, and only because I cannot bear to part with my beloved Project (and its honoured patrons, of course).
Yours in curiosity, Curator Endelle Stroth
