MORITHE - History was made again today, as the first interstellar pleasure cruises arrived at the planet Morithe. These cruises, offering Coreworlds citizens a taste of adventure on the frontier, are the brainchild of tour operator Intrepid.
Already a veteran of the travel industry, Intrepid experienced a boom in activity following the invention of FTL travel. A spokesperson for the company remarked that “cutting-edge AIM Drives now carry passengers to worlds beyond their wildest imaginings.”
Intrepid’s growing fleet of converted Zius-class starships makes port throughout the Conglomerate Exploration Zone (CEZ), allowing holidaymakers the opportunity to visit untamed wildernesses, fledgling colonial communities and the great cities of neighbouring galactic civilisations.
As of today, Morithe is the furthest destination to be served by Intrepid. Located on the edge of the CEZ, it is the latest in a handful of resort worlds marketed to galactic travellers with a taste for luxury. Though much of this arid planet is still unmapped, hoteliers seek to reassure customers that their suites, restaurants and spas don’t skimp on safety. A brochure for Morithe’s Oasis Hotel states that “guests can bask in the planet’s emerald sunlight while magnetised particle fields protect them from predators and environmental hazards.”
However, as Intrepid’s spokesperson told us, the company has no intention of stopping at Morithe. “As brave explorers press onward, Intrepid will follow closely, offering vacationers the same sense of wonder from the comfort of their fully-catered cabins.”
Intrepid cruises depart from Aglostarros monthly; consult your travel agent for tickets.
