007. "The Galaxy Just Got A Lot Smaller"

OURINIA - Veldt Star Industries introduced the Conglomerate’s first ever line of commercial faster-than-light starships.

The Pantheon Collection will be available to buyers from next month, and includes personal (Estir), family (Dothor), commercial transit (Lerucia) and freighter (Zius) models, with more variants to follow within the year.

Speaking at the company’s 2267 Keynote Conference, CEO Ardus Lyn commented: “Veldt Star Industries’ Pantheon Collection stands ready to carry the Coreworlds into a new age of discovery.”

The focus of the Conference was the Astrum Injection Motor (AIM) Drive, which relies on newly sourced Astrum-36 to propel Pantheon starships across interstellar distances in a heartbeat, “all while maintaining the comfort and convenience that Veldt already delivers,” Lyn added.

Though the AIM Drive drew most of the press attention, the Pantheon Collection also garnered interest for its customisation potential. Said Lyn, “each of these ships is designed to easily reconfigure to suit its user’s needs, and compatible with our wide range of Veldt Star Industries modules.”

The modules, which were trialled to great acclaim in Veldt’s previous Nomad Collection, include luxury quarters, expanded cargo bays and versatile heavy machinery platforms. Case studies presented as part of the Keynote included a cruise liner, a mining vessel and even a mobile home.

Sources indicate that organisations as varied as ViCorp, Surt Logistics and the Coreworlds Transport Authority have already placed substantial orders for Pantheon ships. If these rumours are true then, in the words of Lyn himself, “the galaxy just got a lot smaller.”
